If you are wondering if it is possible to fit a portable monitor into your PC case - Yes, it is entirely possible. This mad man did it, no regrets. It is actually a good idea too, having a "monitor in PC case" is more useful than staring at fans and LED lights.

HOW TO & "PARTS LIST"
For those who just want the "quick installation" and parts list - There is no "soldering" and "crazy DIY hacks" in this simple project. You will need:
- Portable Monitor - A 14" fit into my mATX case nicely. Of course, pick one that will fit into yours. Take note, the screen will lose its touch capabilities behind the thick glass.
- N52 Magnet - A nice strong magnet to hold the monitor to the case. Yes, it is still detachable and a portable monitor.
- Magnetic Tape - If your monitor or PC case is plastic, this is a possible alternative to "mount" it in place.
- 360 Degree Mini HDMI Adaptor | U-Shape USB-C - You will probably need some "cable bending" to fit the corners.
- Blank PCI Cover - Lastly, the cables need to reach outside the PC. If you have a 3D printer, grab a blank PCI cover from Thingiverse and add a "cable passthrough hole" to it... Otherwise, just leave an empty slot or cut a hole into the existing PCI cover using a pair of cutter.
WINDOWS SETTINGS
Once the monitor is inside the PC, here are a couple of settings to take care of. I am using Windows 11. Sorry Mac/Linux users, do some research on your own.
- Set the screen position - Right click anywhere on the desktop > Display Settings > Drag and drop the portable monitor.
- Orientation - On the same "Display Settings" page > Select the portable monitor > Scroll down to "Scale & layout" > "Display orientation".
- Lastly, set the wallpaper. Right click anywhere on the desktop > Personalize > Background > Browse Photos > Choose one.
- Then, the annoying part if you want "different wallpapers for different screens" > On the same "Personalize" screen > Right click on a "Recent image" > Select the which monitor to set the wallpaper for.
